Happy Budha Purnima

On the full moon date of Vaishakh month, the birth anniversary of Lord Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, is celebrated. This day is also called Buddha Purnima. This time it is on 26 May 2021. On this date, Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini, near Kapilavastu. His childhood name was Siddharth. He left home at a very young age and started living as a monk. Gautama Buddha became a monk at the age of 27. Lord Buddha attained enlightenment during renunciation. The place where he gained knowledge was called Bodh Gaya. Lord Buddha founded Buddhism and delivered his first sermon at Sarnath.

Following the 10 sermons of Gautama Buddha will end your difficulties

1. It is better to conquer yourself than to win thousands of battles in life. If it is done then the victory will always be yours, no one can snatch it from you.

2. In any case, these three things can never be hidden and they are the sun, the moon and the truth.

3. More important than reaching any objective or goal in life, that journey has to be done well.

4. Evil cannot be eradicated by evil, hatred can only be eradicated by love, it is an unbreakable truth.

5. A man can make only two mistakes while walking on the path of truth - first either do not decide the whole path, second or do not start at all.

6. Do not think about the future and do not get entangled in the past, just pay attention to the present, this is the right way to be happy in life.

7. Happiness always increases by sharing, just as thousands of lamps can be illuminated with one burning lamp, yet the light of that lamp does not decrease.

8. You can read as many good books as you like, listen to any number of good words, but until you adopt them in your life there is no benefit.

9. Always being angry is the same as holding yourself with the desire to throw burning coal at someone else, this anger first burns you.

10. Angry is a word of silence, which brings peace to life, is better than speaking thousands of wrong words.
